Kevin MacDonald is the founder of MacDonald Associates pc and a highly experienced civil litigator. With a career spanning over three decades, Kevin focuses on employment law, construction law, and business disputes. His extensive courtroom experience includes appearances at every level of court in Ontario, as well as before numerous administrative tribunals. Kevin’s pragmatic approach and strategic advocacy have made him a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex legal challenges.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business and Politics from Brock University in 1984, graduating with distinction. He went on to complete his L.L.B. at the University of Windsor Law School in 1987, where he was awarded the prestigious John H. Rodd Award for excellence in Conflicts Law. After articling at Aird & Berlis in Toronto, Kevin joined McComb & Associates, specializing in civil litigation with a focus on employment and construction law. In 1992, Kevin moved his practice to York Region, founding the firm that evolved into today’s MacDonald Associates.
Beyond his legal practice, Kevin is a dedicated family man and an accomplished endurance athlete. A Boston Marathon and Ironman competitor, Kevin balances his professional success with a passion for outdoor adventures, skiing in Collingwood, and spending time with his wife and three children in Ontario’s cottage country. He also enjoys competitive sports, including tennis, golf, and hockey, embodying the belief that balance is the key to both personal and professional fulfillment.
