Steve Segal is an Articling Student at MacDonald Associates pc, with an interest in civil litigation and corporate law. Steve joined the firm as a summer student in 2025.

Steve graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from York University in 2022 before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2026. During law school, Steve was a semi-finalist in the 2026 Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot. He also participated in the Zuber Moot Competition. Steve served as a caseworker with Community Legal Aid, where he assisted clients with Landlord and Tenant Board matters. He also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and was a copy editor with the Canadian Bar Review.

Outside of the office, Steve enjoys exploring nature and staying active. He is an avid supporter of the Maple Leafs, Raptors, and Blue Jays, and a firm believer in “next year”.
